Here's what our current mobile classes are saying:

• What age are Mobile Classes for?

Mobile Art Classes for ages 3.5 & up*, and Mobile Mini Makers is for ages walking - 3 years old

*We ask no more than 1.5 years age difference from youngest to oldest child.

• When do you offer classes?

Mobile Classes are typically scheduled between 9:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.

• How many kids can I have in class?

Mobile Art Classes & Mini Makers have a maximum class size of 8 children.

• How long are Mobile Classes?

Mobile Art Classes are one hour long, and Mini Makers Classes are 45 minutes. Your teacher will arrive 30 minutes early to set up, and stay 30 minutes after class to clean up.  

• How long are Mobile Class sessions?

Mobile Classes are typically scheduled in 10-week sessions, which are paid for in full up front. Artists must enroll for the entire session. Shorter sessions are available upon request.

• Can you do a class in my area?

Mobile Classes are typically within a 10 mile radius of our studio in Encino. If you are outside this range, please reach out to us -- mobile@mericherry.com -- and we will do our best to accommodate.

• What types of projects can I expect?

Our teachers are always developing new process-based curriculum! Kids will use a variety of art making processes, including but not limited to collaging, building, sculpting, painting, drawing, beading, and so much more. We plan developmentally appropriate curriculum based on your group's age range, and make sure we're bringing new, awesome materials and tools for the kids to use and explore for their projects. Let us know how we can tailor your session to fit your children's interests!

• What do I need to host class?

• Large shaded outdoor area that's ok to get messy. If not shaded, please provide large umbrella or tent.
• Table(s) & chairs to comfortably accommodate your class (no tables/chairs necessary for Mini Makers)
• Access to an outdoor sink or hose
• Clear, open and prompt communication with Meri Cherry about class roster information, cancellations, etc.

• Do I get a discount for being a host?

We appreciate all the hard work our Mobile Class hosts do to keep their mobile classes running smoothly, as well as offering their home as a private art studio! Because of this, the Class Host will receive an ongoing 10% discount for their child’s enrollment.

• How much are Mobile Classes?

All multi-week sessions are paid up front as a bundle price. The breakdown below shows a per class pricing* so you can get a better idea of how it works!

6- 8 kids: $50/child/class

5 kids: $60/child/class

4 kids: $75/child/class

3 kids: $100/child/class

2 kids: $150/child/class

Have siblings? Even better! Get 10% your registration fee when you sign up a sibling.
