MERI CHERRY MOBILE ART CLASS

Looking to bring the magic of Meri Cherry Art Studio right to your own backyard?

Mobile classes are weekly, one hour small group Process Art classes held in backyards all across Los Angeles. Our fabulous Mobile Teachers bring all the art materials, tools and expertise for an amazing at-home Process Art experience.

Meri Cherry Art Classes are process-based, meaning we focus on the making and doing rather than the finished product. We develop our projects and curriculum to be engaging, fun and exciting, and encourage each child’s individual creativity and imagination.

CLASS SIZE

Up to 8 children

AGE

3.5 & up. Age range needs to be a maximum of 1.5 years from youngest to oldest child.

CLASS LENGTH

One hour. Mobile Teachers will allow 15 minutes before and after class time for set-up and clean-up

CLASS FREQUENCY

Once weekly for 10 weeks (shorter sessions available upon request)

MOBILE CLASS FAQs

What age are Mobile Classes for?

We offer Meri Cherry Mobile Art Classes for ages 3.5 & up. All children in class need to be within 1.5 years from youngest to oldest.

When do you offer classes?

As long as we have the availability, we can schedule Mobile Classes Monday - Friday, 9:30am-5pm.

How many kids can I have in class?

Mobile Classes have a maximum class size of 6 children at this time. We do offer one-on-one private classes as well.

How long are Mobile Classes?

Meri Cherry Mobile Art Classes are one hour long. Your teacher will arrive 15 minutes early to set up, and stay 15 minutes after class to clean up.  

How long are Mobile Class sessions?

Mobile Classes are scheduled in 10-week sessions, which are paid for in full up front. Students must enroll for the entire session.

Can you do a class in my area?

We travel all over the Los Angeles area for mobile classes, and will work to find the best time for you based on our teachers' current schedules. Our mobile classes are typically within 10 miles from our studio in Encino.

What types of projects can I expect?

Our teachers are constantly developing new process-based curriculum! Kids will use a variety of art making processes, including but not limited to collaging, building, sculpting, painting, drawing, beading, and so much more. We plan developmentally appropriate curriculum based on your group's age range, and make sure we're bringing new, awesome materials and tools for the kids to use and explore for their projects.

How much are Mobile Classes?

Pricing depends on class enrollment, and full 10-week session payment is due at signup:

6-8 kids: $50/class/child

5 kids: $60/class/child

4 kids: $75/class/child

3 kids: $100/class/child

2 kids: $150/class/child

1 child: $300/class/child

  • Large shaded outdoor area that's ok to get messy. If not shaded, please provide large umbrella or tent.
  • Table(s) & chairs to comfortably accommodate your class
  • Access to an outdoor sink or hose
  • Clear & open communication with Meri Cherry Art Studio about class roster information, cancellations, etc.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

WE VALUE THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN AND OUR TEAM MEMBERS

WE ARE TAKING STEPS TO PROTECT AGAINST COVID-19

CLASS SIZE

We've decreased our maximum class size from 8 to 6 children until further notice.

CLEANING & SANITATION

Our teachers clean and sanitize the art materials and tools before and after each class, and are equipped with hand wipes to use during class.

MASKS & DISTANCE

We are not requiring students or MC Teachers to wear masks during class, as they are held outside and all of our teachers are fully vaccinated.

CLASS LOCATION

All mobile classes will be held outdoors until further notice. In case of rain, we will cancel class instead of moving indoors.
